Immediately after treatment, the area may appear darker, brighter or more sharply defined than the final healed result. Mild redness, tenderness or swelling may occur. As the skin heals, you may experience dryness, light flaking, mild itching or small areas that appear uneven. These changes can be part of normal healing.

Do not pick, peel, rub or scratch the treated area. Allow any dry or flaking skin to come away naturally, as disturbing the area may affect pigment retention and increase the risk of infection or scarring.

Always wash and dry your hands before touching the treated area or applying your Skin Full aftercare product. Apply the product using clean hands or a fresh cotton bud. Never place a used cotton bud back into the product.

Keep the area clean and avoid unnecessary touching, rubbing, picking or peeling. Do not apply makeup, facial cleanser, active skincare or other cosmetic products directly over the treated area until the surface has healed.

During the initial healing period, avoid swimming pools, spas, saunas, steam rooms, excessive sweating, direct sunlight and direct shower pressure over the treated area. Avoid waxing, tinting, facials, peels, electrolysis and laser treatments close to the area until it has completely healed.

Every skin heals and retains pigment differently. Your healed result can be influenced by your skin type and condition, the treatment area, pigment colour, medications, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products and how closely the aftercare instructions are followed.

Your cosmetic tattoo will initially appear darker or brighter before gradually softening during healing. Some areas may heal lighter or retain less pigment than others. This can be assessed and refined at your perfecting visit once the skin has fully healed.

Once healed, protect your cosmetic tattoo from excessive sun exposure and avoid applying strong exfoliants, retinoids, acids or resurfacing products directly over the area, as these may accelerate fading.

For the first 12 hours following treatment, gently blot the brows as instructed using a fresh cotton pad or tissue to remove any fluid. Use a clean pad for each brow.

Apply a very thin layer of the supplied Skin Full aftercare product morning and night for 10 to 14 days, or as personally directed. More product is not better, so apply only a light layer.

Do not pick or remove flaking skin. Avoid brow makeup, tinting, waxing and active skincare directly over the brows while they are healing. Your brows will initially appear darker and more defined before gradually softening as the skin heals.

Mild swelling and tenderness may occur following eyeliner tattooing. If needed, place clean, cool, damp cotton pads over closed eyes for short periods. Do not place ice or frozen pads directly onto the skin.

Keep the eye area clean and avoid rubbing, touching or picking it. Do not apply eye makeup until the skin has healed. Avoid eyelash tinting, lash lifts and eyelash extensions for at least two weeks, or until the area has completely healed.

Wear glasses while the eye area remains swollen or tender. Do not reinsert contact lenses until your eyes feel comfortable and follow the personalised advice provided at your appointment.

Wearing sunglasses outdoors can help protect the healing area from sunlight, wind and airborne irritation.

Lip Blush will initially appear brighter and more defined than the final healed result. Mild swelling, tenderness, dryness and flaking may occur. The colour may also look uneven or very light at different stages of healing before gradually settling.

For the first day, gently blot the lips as instructed using a clean tissue or cotton pad. Apply a very thin layer of the supplied Skin Full aftercare product using clean hands or a fresh cotton bud. Reapply only as directed and avoid applying a thick layer.

Do not pick, peel or bite any dry or flaking skin. Avoid lipstick and other lip products until the surface has healed, apart from the supplied Skin Full product. Avoid very hot, spicy, salty or acidic foods and drinks while the lips are tender. Use a straw where practical and gently clean the lips after eating.

Avoid kissing and other direct contact with the lips until the surface has healed. If you experience tingling, blisters or other symptoms of a cold sore, contact your doctor promptly and let Perfection Enhanced know.

A perfecting visit is an important part of the cosmetic tattooing process. Once healing is complete, some areas may appear lighter or retain less pigment than others. Your healed colour and shape can be assessed and refined at this appointment where required.
